Ashley Wang

I'm a product designer and builder based in Brooklyn, NY. I recently stepped into founder mode — building a service from scratch with AI to help the best talent in tech tell their career stories. Before that, I designed products at Spotify, OpenSea, Patreon, BCG, and LinkedIn. I do my best work where the stakes are high, the systems are complex, and clarity is the product.

Patreon Autopilot

2025

I led the design of Autopilot, a system that centralizes Patreon's growth tools and uses intelligent automation to run campaigns on behalf of creators — right message, right fan, right time. The core design challenge was building trust in automation: giving creators enough control to feel ownership while making the default experience effortless. Since launch, Autopilot has driven 3.6M+ signups and 52K+ conversions to paid memberships across campaign types.

Proofline

2026

Founded Proofline to help technical operators articulate the through-line of their careers in high-stakes moments — extraordinary ability green card petitions, in partnership with a top law firm. Designed the service AI-native from the start: sales, intake, narrative strategy, and the translation of dense technical work for non-technical readers. The design problem wasn't a UI — it was the service blueprint: where AI earns its keep, where human judgment is load-bearing, and how to orchestrate the handoffs. 4 months. 100% success rate across 50+ delivered cases, 200+ clients consulted, 500+ community.

Patreon Gifting

2024

I led the design of Patreon's Gifting feature from 0→1 — letting fans gift memberships to others, one of the most requested features from creators and their audiences. I owned the end-to-end experience for both fan and creator side and shipped it in three months. Since launch, Gifting has generated over $1.7M in revenue, with 44K+ gifts purchased across 17K+ creators.

Spotify Podcast Call-to-Action Cards

2022

Podcast CTA Cards was a 0→1 product that brought interactivity to podcast advertising for the first time — turning a purely audio format into a multi-modal experience where listeners could act on podcast ads. I designed a system spanning 5 surfaces owned by different teams at Spotify; the core challenge was creating coherence across contexts, modalities, and team boundaries. Within 3 months, CTA Cards generated $16.4M in booked revenue — 34% of Spotify's Streaming Ad Insertion revenue.

OpenSea Drops

2023

At OpenSea, I led the design of Drops — a self-service tool that let creators launch NFT collections without writing code. The core challenge was two-sided: giving creators a simple path to go live while giving collectors confidence in what they were minting. Drops generated $27M+ in trading volume, 600K+ users, and $25M+ in direct creator earnings.

LinkedIn Profile

Summer 2018

I partnered closely with product managers, researchers, and engineers to redesign the LinkedIn Profile experience for people with client-based work, improving representation for more than 1 million freelancers and 2.5 million self-employed workers. As the sole designer on the project, I led the design of both the viewing and editing experiences across iOS, desktop, and mobile web.
